Snowboarding in Colorado – Young Rippers Tear It Up in The Park and On the Mountain!

We are unlike your typical RV family in many ways, but the fact that we are not snowbirds is one very distinct difference.  In fact, we seek out the snow because one of our all-time favorite things to do is snowboard.  Freestyle, racing, the terrain park, backcountry, we do it all and have fun doing it.

This year, like many others, we spent in Colorado, and Sunlight Mountain Resort was our main stomping ground.  You know for a family of 14, the snowboarding lifestyle can get uber expensive and Sunlight is one of the very few, if not the only, resort that has a family pass.  It’s not a luxury resort, by any means, but we aren’t a luxury family, however, the snow is the same as in Aspen and Vail in that it is that epic champagne powder that Colorado is known for.

There simply is no more amazing feeling than flying down the mountain on that stuff.  It is our winter drug of choice and we are definitely addicted.
