Tragic end to a great day. After an awesome kayak session, Grady moved a small rock in a nearby creek and huge boulder fell from above and crushed his left hand. Two fingers broken, one is shattered. Got him stitched up at the ER, but we still have to see an orthopaedic surgeon on Monday. No kayaking for him for a while. He just said, it could have been worse; it could have hit me on the head. 🙁
